Our Youth ministry begins with those in 7th grade.
Everything we do here is designed to help a student come to an intimate
relationship with Christ. A relationship so vital to their lives that a
student will carry it with them throughout their lives.
SUNDAY MORNINGS 9:15-10:15
Our Youth
Sunday School is dynamic and exciting with an emphasis on strong Biblical
teaching, application, and ministry. Our adult leaders are committed to
reaching, teaching, and ministering to the special needs of
teenagers. Currently we have two breakout sessions on "Having a
Real Relationship With God" and "Martin Luther: Righteous Faith".
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS 7-8:15
This
midweek group is focused on open discussion. Each week there is a
topic and students are free to discuss openly. Currently we are
watching episodes of the popular TV series "Boy Meets World" and then drawing Biblical
applications from it in our discussions.
 SUNDAY NIGHTS
6:30-7:30
Sunday night Student worship time
begins at 6:30 (same time as the adult worship) and is an alternative for
the youth to the adult worship. Sunday Nights is more of an indepth
Bible study time. Currently we are going through the book of Romans.
YOUTH CAMP
God has blessed us in
incredible ways in our Youth Camp each summer. We usually do our own camp,
bringing in the best youth speakers and musicians available. This
fantastic week is usually in July, and has been a spiritual highlight of
our Youth Ministry each year.
DISCIPLESHIP WEEKEND
Usually held in
February, this weekend retreat held in church members' homes gives youth
an intensive weekend of Bible study, recreation, and fellowship. Guest
speakers, musicians, and small group leaders are a highlight.
PUPPET TEAM
The Heaven's
Handful puppet team is a great way for youth to get involved in
missions. Heaven's
Handful consists of 7th - 12th grade students, college students and
adult leaders. We practice each Sunday in order to better our skills
to show Gods love. The puppet team ministers to various places such
as nursing homes, retirement centers, carnivals, hospitals, schools, bible
clubs, campgrounds, malls, beaches, companies, children homes, homeless
shelters and our yearly mission trip.
