The staff and members of First Baptist Church of Ferguson invite you to become an active part of a caring and Christ-centered fellowship that is committed to reaching people and sharing God's love. There is something for everyone in the family, any age, any different interest.

Children's & Preschool Ministry
The Early years shape the rest of life.
His eyes are filled with wonder.
Her face reflects the future.
In so many ways your preschooler is clay to be fashioned for a special purpose in this world. You know just how important those early years are in realizing that purpose. That is why we want the very best for your preschooler. FBCF’s Preschool Ministry provides important benefits to preschoolers and their parents. The Children’s Ministry continues the growth process during the formative years.

Youth Ministry
STUDENTS 180 - Believing it takes a 180 degree decision to be true followers of Jesus Christ, we feel F.B.C. Ferguson, is the place for students to be accepted "just as they are". We help students grow in their relationships with their peers and with Jesus Christ through Bible studies, relevant times of worship and meaningful acts of service, Disciple Now weekends, retreats, summer camps, tours, ski trips and much more. We are always looking for opportunities to provide students with what they need to take on the challenge of today and prepare them for tomorrow.

College And Single Adult Ministry - We delve into meaningful Biblical studies that are practical and relevant to today's Young Adults. We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15 for food, fellowship, and Bible Study. Special weekend activities include pizza parties, bowling, and other fellowship opportunities. Come join this dynamic ministry.

Married Adult Ministry
Our Married Adults are divided into two divisions - Young Adults and Median Adults. We offer fully graded departments for each age group. In these departments, we have men's classes, ladies' classes, and/or co-ed classes. We offer something for everybody in Bible Study. Also, additional activities are provided in a variety of programs each year. These popular programs include: Precept Bible Studies for men and women; Ladies' Luncheons; and Seminars on Parenting, Stress, Finance, and other subjects.

Senior Adult Ministry
A wide variety of activities are provided for Senior Adults such as: camps, trips, banquets, and conferences. Also, Bible Study is provided in a variety of places and departments on Sunday. Anyone age 55 and up is welcome to join this exciting ministry.

Audio-Video
The purpose of the Audio-Video Technical ministry is to enable and enhance worship through Sound, Lighting, and Multimedia. Our goal is to support the praise and worship experience with the tools of technology. This ministry encompasses preparation of the multimedia announcements and choruses, manning the sound, lighting, multimedia consoles, and the broadcast booth. This website is also a part of this ministry.

AWANA
The word Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15. "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.". Our AWANA club ministers to children age three through 6th grade.

Banners
Throughout time, banners have been used in celebration, worship, and praise. Our Banner Ministry creates and prepares banners for use in special presentations and to enhanse our worship and praise services.

Baptist Retired Men's Fellowship
This is a group of men who meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month (except December) to have fellowship, share inspirational programs, and participate in mission action in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. BRMF is open to all men from any church in the St. Louis Metro Baptist Association, which includes some churches in St. Charles County.

Benevolence
There are times when the physical needs of an individual become critical. We seek to assist with those needs while also addressing the spiritual needs.

Caregiver Ministry
This is a ministry to individuals who have had surgery or are facing serious illness and are unable to take care of their daily needs. Individuals from Sunday School classes or other ministries within the church take assigned days or portions of a day and stay with the ill member. This ministry provides companionship, light housekeeping, preparing meals, caring for small children, running errands, shopping, etc. This relieves family members and allows them to go to their jobs, attend school or whatever they must do.

Children's Bible Drill
The Children’s Bible Drill of First Baptist Church Ferguson is fun for 4th –6th graders. They learn Scripture, key passages, and participate in book drills with opportunities to advance to Association and State levels at Windermere.

"Thy word have I hid in mine heart that I might not sin against thee." Psalm 119:11

Children's Camp
The purpose of Children’s Camp is that the children will develop their total person in relation to God, to others and to themselves. Leaders strive to share Christ, to model the Christ-like life, and to develop Christian characteristics in the children during the week.

Every part of the camp schedule from Worship time and devotions to scavenger hunts and skit night is designed to keep the camp’s purpose in mind.

Children's Church
Children's Church meets Sunday morning during the Worship service. Children PreK-2nd grade are dismissed from the Worship service just after the welcome. Children's Church is a Worship service geared for younger children. We sing songs, take offering, hear wonderful stories from God's Word and participate in "hands on" craft applications.

Costumes
The months preceding Easter and Christmas are busy times for those in our costume ministry. Their goal is to create special attire for those presenting the gospel message. Whether biblical, patriotic, or festive attire, you can see the handiwork of this ministry.

Counseling
Facing a crisis, confronted with a decision, occupational transition, wrestling with destructive behavior, feeling overwhelmed with despair? Troubled relationships
... family conflicts ... stress ... temptations ... confusion ... We all struggle and at some points in life we feel alone and overwhelmed. Many times we simply need someone to listen to us and to help us sort through the issues at hand, then map out a Biblically-based path to correct course and begin again.

Counselors
Whether during the worship services or at 6:30 Sunday mornings during the Think About Tomorrow broadcast, there are counselors ready to share the Plan of Salvation with those who are seeking. These committed people find the joy of leading others to Christ.

Deacons
In Acts 6:1-6, the formation of the position of deacon is described. It is a ministry of service to the body of Christ. Our deacons strive to be the servants envisioned in Acts through a ministry of prayer, "deacon on call", hospital visitation, and other activities.

Deaf Ministry
We provide a Bible study and activities for deaf individuals of all ages including signing of our morning worship service and special events.

Drama Teams
Whether during a regular service or one of the special presentations, our drama teams emphasize important truths through drama. Many times drama is the best method to convey the message.

Eye Glasses to Missions
The face of a loved one, a flower, a bird in the sky. The gift of sight is a wonderful thing. Our Eyeglass ministry helps share the gift of good sight by collecting, cleaning and preparing used eyeglasses to be distributed in countries where the people cannot afford eyecare. Working with volunteer optometrist, these eyeglasses help share the message of God's love by showing that someone cares.

Fellowship
The Fellowship/Hospitality of First Baptist Church Ferguson encourages, promotes and makes necessary recommendations for the maintenance of a spirit of genuine church fellowship. They plan and promote periodic church fellowships at which time all new members of the church are introduced and recognized. They also work with the church organizations in planning an annual program of social activities. This also includes receptions for new ministerial staff members or receptions for special occasions; such as employment anniversaries, etc.

Funeral Meals
Whenever there is a death within the church family, a group from the Sunday School class or department where the member attended or served, uses money donated for this purpose to provide the meat, bread, etc. Class members bring salads, vegetables, or desserts.

Heaven's Handful Puppet teams
"Working with your hands" has a special meaning when it comes to Heaven's Handful. This group of young people spread God's love through puppets to people in churches, hospitals, nursing homes, and throughout the community. Their ministry reaches far with mission trips to Belarus and Jamaica, and throughout the United States including Wyoming, Florida, and Wisconsin among others. The puppets break down the barriers and allow the puppeteers to minister in a unique way.

Also, this is the most successful program with the Internationals. They go home with good memories of Baptist churches.

The result is a personal, one-on-one encounter with the Living God. Using the inductive method, classes study various books of the Bible or topics, such as covenant or spiritual gifts. Classes are open to anyone at any level and never close their membership

By taking this class you will embark on a journey into a community that enjoys communication. With this class you should be able to begin conversing with deaf people.

Special Delivery Puppet Team
The Adult Special Education Sunday School Class has a puppet ministry that reaches out to tell people about the love of God. They’ve ministered several times at First Baptist Church Ferguson during the Christmas Season, Vacation Bible School, Carnival, and at the Annual Puppet Ministry Fellowship. Everywhere they go they’re greeted with standing ovations. They have also ministered at bowling banquets for special needs and the Strawberry Festival at the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home. To our knowledge, they‘re the only Special Education Puppet Ministry in existence. They always glorify God and we’re very proud of them.

It airs on Charter Cable Channel 18 at 7:00pm Sunday evening. Counselors are on hand during each of the broadcasts to witness to those responding to the Word.

Vacation Bible School provides an exciting and enjoyable way for children to learn about Jesus. Activities, crafts, stories, songs and games are all combined to show God’s love for each and every child. Parent’s night is a showcase of what each child has been doing during the week. Held in June each year, VBS at First Baptist ministers to hundreds of children and their families.

The group also gathered items for missionaries to Honduras, Chile, and Belize as people traveled to these places.

Women's Ministry
We are taking first S.T.E.P.S. to bring all of the women’s ministries together under this basic Biblical premise: that we need one another and we can encourage one another to become what God has purposed in His heart for us through Christ Jesus.
