Operation Christmas Child is a part of Samaritan’s Purse, a ministry of Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham.

Operation Christmas Child has become the world’s largest international Christmas project for children, but at it’s core it is still "kids helping kids", as children can have a "hands on" part in filling shoe boxes with gifts for children in other part of the world, where the need is so great.

The Good News of Jesus Christ is being told through Gospel literature, in his or her own language, placed in each shoebox. These gifts are tangible evidence of the love of Jesus Christ for these children. The Gospel seeds sown by many of these gifts will be nourished this year as Franklin Graham leads evangelistic Festivals in Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Brazil.

Each October and November church members and their children pack dozens of shoeboxes to share the love of Jesus to children around the world. The children in our AWANA programs also participate.
