Saturday Clean-up, Repair, & Up-keep Bunch

HELP WANTED!

Our purpose is to make God's house a beautiful place in which we can be proud to bring our family and friends to worship, teach, team, have fellowship, and to glorify and praise the Lord above all.

The second Saturday of EVERY month dedicated FBCF church members put their faith into action to help with the upkeep of the Lord's house. Inside we paint and wash windows and clean out closets and attack cobwebs and repair carpets and clean the kitchen and repair pews and straighten/sort supplies and much much more. When weather permits outside, we cut brush along the fence row and trim bushes and weed gardens and trim trees and pickup trash and clean and fill parking lot cracks and much more. All of these jobs save our church the cost of contract outside labor and/or allow our custodial staff time to concentrate on the best cleaning of their regular areas. Some of our church's saints that are not able to do the physical activity have donated funds to pay for materials and to hire contractors for some of the larger jobs.

Wear your painting clothes. You can bring your favorite paintbrush or we will provide you with one. We have all of the equipment and the paint. We just need you! We also have some larger projects that need specialized skills and equipment such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall. Contact the church office if you can help with the larger projects.

We will start between 8:00 and 9:00 am and work until about noon (or later if you are willing) unless changed due to a church activity that would cause a major conflict..
